Hi, I'm Kate
If you’ve been holding everything together for your family, your work, your world, while quietly falling apart inside…
I want you to know: I see you.
Not the capable version everyone relies on.
But the part of you that’s exhausted.
The part that whispers, “I can’t keep doing this.”I’ve known that place too.
Calm on the outside.
Reliable. Responsible.
The strong one.And underneath?
Running on empty.
There came a point when my body no longer whispered ... it shut down.
There was a season in my life when my body simply couldn’t keep going.
After years of holding everything together, my nervous system was overwhelmed. Light felt harsh. Noise was exhausting. Being around people drained me.
My body forced me to slow down in a way I never had before.
What followed was not quick or glamorous. It was a gradual process of understanding how much I had been carrying, how much I had ignored, and how long I had been living in survival mode.
That season reshaped me.
It taught me that healing doesn’t happen through pushing harder. It happens when the nervous system feels safe enough to settle.
It begins with slowing down.
With attunement.
With learning to listen to your body rather than override it.
Your body is not the enemy.
It’s responding to what has been too much for too long.
And when we work with it gently, change becomes possible.
This space isn’t about fixing you.
This space isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about helping your nervous system feel safe enough to soften.
If you’re here reading this, and you feel quietly exhausted or afraid that if you stop everything might unravel, you’re not alone.
You are not broken.
Your body has simply been in survival mode for a long time.
Here, we begin gently.
With steadiness.
With compassion.
With a pace that respects your capacity.
From there, we work toward something sustainable, so you’re no longer just coping, but living in a way that feels calm and real.
If this resonates, I would be honoured to support you.
From Survival to Steadiness
What shifted my life wasn’t a quick fix or a five-step plan.
It was learning how to listen to my body instead of override it.
It was understanding how long my nervous system had been in survival mode.
I began studying what I had lived but couldn’t yet name:
How stress and trauma shape the body’s responses.
How high functioning can mask deep dysregulation.
How real healing requires safety, steadiness and time.
How the nervous system can relearn regulation when given the right support.
This became the foundation of Nourish Your Wellbeing.
Not a promise of perfection.
But a grounded, nervous system based approach to helping women move out of survival and into a life that feels sustainable.
My Work Now
Start with a Conversation - Schedule a Soulful CallToday, I support women who have been strong for a long time and are quietly exhausted from holding it all together.
Many of the women I work with look capable on the outside but feel wired, flat, or overwhelmed underneath. They are tired of pushing through and ready for something steadier.
My work centres on nervous system based counselling. We gently explore how stress, burnout and old survival patterns have shaped your body’s responses, and we create enough safety for your system to soften.
While my background includes embodied practices and systems based approaches, the heart of my work is simple: helping you move out of survival mode and back into a life that feels sustainable.
There is no performance required here.
No expectation to hold it together.Just grounded support, honest conversation, and space for your nervous system to find steadiness again.

A glimpse into the essence behind Nourish Your Wellbeing
I’m drawn to simple forms of beauty that soothe the nervous system. A warm cup of tea. Slow rituals. Spaces that feel steady and unhurried.
Beyond my professional training, I’m someone who has known burnout and chronic fatigue firsthand. I understand what it means to look capable on the outside while quietly running on empty.
That lived experience shaped how I work. I value steadiness over urgency. Depth over quick fixes. Gentle, consistent change over dramatic breakthroughs.
Outside the counselling space, you’ll often find me walking in nature, tending to my vegetable garden, or immersed in creative work. These rhythms help me stay grounded and present.
I prioritise my own nervous system care through regular support and restorative practices, because I believe we can only hold others well when we are resourced ourselves.
I don’t offer quick solutions. I offer attuned presence, grounded guidance, and a space where your system can soften at its own pace.
With warmth,Â
Kate X
