If you’ve been carrying too much for too long, you’re not alone.
When your nervous system has been under stress for an extended period, it can get stuck in survival mode.
You might feel constantly on edge, wired at night but exhausted during the day.
Or flat, numb, and disconnected.
You may find yourself snapping more easily, overthinking, or reaching for ways to cope just to take the edge off. This isn’t a personal failure. It’s your nervous system trying to protect you.
In our work together, we gently explore how your body has learned to respond to stress, and how those patterns have shaped the way you move through relationships, work, and daily life.
We begin by creating safety. Slowly. At a pace your system can tolerate.
As your nervous system starts to feel steadier, something shifts.
Sleep deepens.
Reactivity softens.
You feel more present and more like yourself. My work meets you where you are, with warmth, steadiness, and a deep respect for your body’s capacity to heal.
Counselling for Women
A space where your body can finally exhale.
Hi, I'm Kate
Begin Here
You’ll find three healing pathways below.
Choose the one that feels most like you today.
And if you're unsure - you’re always welcome to start with a Clarity Call.
BOOK A CLARITY CALLPathway 1
Individual Counselling
From burnout to steadiness.
A gentle return to yourself.
Burnout rarely happens overnight. It builds slowly through over-functioning, over-giving, constant responsibility, anxiety, emotional numbing, and ignoring your body’s signals for too long.
Over time, your nervous system adapts. It shifts into survival mode to keep you going.
Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” we begin with a different question:
What has your nervous system been trying to protect you from?
Together, we explore how your body learned to cope - through urgency, shutdown, people-pleasing, or pushing past your limits, and how those patterns once helped you survive.
With trauma-informed counselling and nervous system awareness, we gently begin to:
• Understand what moves you into stress and overwhelm
• Recognise when you’re slipping into survival responses
• Strengthen your capacity for safety and steadiness
• Work with your body’s rhythms instead of overriding them
This isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about restoring your capacity for calm, connection, and sustainable energy - at a pace your nervous system can trust.

Pathway 2
Grief & Loss Counselling
From deep sorrow to steady ground.
Holding what hurts with reverence.
Grief isn’t something to “get over.”
It’s something we learn to carry - with care, with time, and, eventually, with love.
In this space, you are not asked to be strong. You are invited to be real.
Whether your grief is fresh, lingering, complicated, or invisible - you’ll be met with tenderness. We work gently with your nervous system, your emotions, and the unique story of your loss.
This space is welcome to:
- Anticipatory grief
- Trauma-linked grief
- Long-held sorrow
- Quiet, unacknowledged loss
Together, we use nervous system tools, gentle inquiry, and grounding rituals to help you feel safe, understood, and less alone.

Pathway 3
Religious & Cult Trauma Recovery
From spiritual disconnection to inner truth.
Reclaiming voice, identity and intuition.
Leaving a high-demand religious or spiritual group can leave you feeling disoriented, ashamed, or unsure of your own truth. These environments often seem caring on the surface — which can make the harm harder to name.
But what you’re feeling makes sense.
Your nervous system adapted to survive.
Now it’s asking for something more honest. More you.
In our work, we explore:
- How your system learned to survive
- How to gently rebuild safety
- How to untangle internalised beliefs
- How to reweave identity, voice, and embodied truth
This work is trauma-informed, body-aware, and deeply respectful.
No pressure. No performance. No urgency.
Just a space where you get to choose your own pace.
Not sure where to begin?
A Clarity Call is a gentle, obligation-free space to explore where you’re at and what support feels most aligned.
