What can I expect during my first counselling session?
You’ll be welcomed into a calm, compassionate space where there’s no rush to explain it all at once.
We begin slowly - getting to know each other, what’s brought you here, and how your nervous system has been holding it all.
Together, we’ll co-create a gentle, supportive plan that honours your needs, your pace, and the energy you have available.
How long does each session last?
Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes, depending on what feels most supportive.
How many sessions will I need?
It really depends on your goals and what you’re needing support with. Some clients come for just a handful of sessions during a life transition or period of burnout, while others choose ongoing, longer-term support.
We’ll check in regularly to make sure the rhythm still feels right for you. That might look like weekly, fortnightly, or monthly sessions - depending on what feels supportive and sustainable for your energy and budget.
What types of issues can counselling help with?
I support women navigating burnout, grief, chronic illness, nervous system overwhelm, trauma, spiritual or religious deconstruction, identity shifts, and relational patterns.
My work also extends to cult recovery, existential grief and loss, and embodied healing for high-achieving women who feel quietly depleted beneath the surface.
Do you offer online or virtual sessions?
Yes. Counselling is offered both in-person (Gawler, SA) and via secure Telehealth sessions of phone counselling. You’re welcome to show up in your comfiest clothes, tea in hand at home.
Is what I discuss in therapy confidential?
Absolutely. Everything you share is held with the highest respect, privacy, and care- within the ethical guidelines of the Australian Counselling Association counselling profession.
Do you accept insurance or provide rebates?
Currently, I do not offer Medicare rebates. However, I’m a registered provider for NDIS (Self & Plan-Managed).
